Invisalign in London for Teeth Straightening

Invisalign clear aligners treatment at Thousand Smiles allows you to comfortably and discreetly transform your smile using virtually-invisible removable braces. The aligners are transparent and custom-made for each patient, so you can gradually straighten your teeth without brackets or metal wires.

Invisalign aligners can correct different orthodontic issues for a balanced, even smile within three months. The aligners are removable, clear and flexible like retainers, so you can remove them when you want to brush your teeth or eat.

Getting Invisalign treatment at Thousand Smiles is a good option if you want to straighten your teeth discreetly.

How does Invisalign treatment work?

Step 1 – Visit Thousand Smiles dentist

During your first appointment, our dentist will decide how your treatment will go, take your teeth impressions and send them to Invisalign.

Step 2 – making the aligners

Creating Invisalign aligners uses 3D imaging technology to transform your teeth impressions into a series of custom-made clear and removable aligners. The series of aligners can be up to 48, depending on your needs.

Step 3 – get the aligners

At your next appointment at our dental practice, the dentist will give you your first set of aligners. You will likely get additional sets of aligners to wear until your next appointment.

Step 4 – wear the aligners

You will wear each set of the Invisalign aligners for about two weeks, and can take it out when you want to brush, floss and eat. Your appointments will be after every six weeks to check if your treatment is going as expected. Generally, Invisalign treatment takes 12 – 18 months.

Step 5 – finish treatment

You would have completed your treatment after wearing all sets of aligners. However, to keep your smile straight, you need to wear retainers at night for the next six months and a few times a week, as directed by the dentist.

What are the benefits of Invisalign treatment?

Virtually invisible

Unlike traditional braces, the Invisalign system does not use brackets or wires. They are virtually invisible, so most people will not notice you are straightening your teeth.

Comfortable

Clear aligners are more comfortable than wearing traditional braces. These transparent Invisalign aligners are custom-made and flexible for maximum comfort. You can also remove them, which makes brushing your teeth easy and eating normally during your treatment.

Different solutions

The latest Invisalign treatments can correct complex orthodontic issues, and the four main categories of this treatment include:

  • Invisalign Full- it is the most commonly used Invisalign treatment
  • Invisalign Teen- it is suitable for teenagers whose mouths are still developing
  • Invisalign Lite- suitable for the less complex cases
  • Invisalign i7 – give fast results for issues affecting only a few teeth

See the result before the treatment

Invisalign clear aligners treatment uses ClinCheck 3D imaging technology which assesses your teeth to create customised aligners. Before your treatment, the orthodontist will show you the digital representation of how your teeth will look after the treatment.
