Ana is a Dental Hygienist who qualified in Spain in 2021. Having worked in dentistry since 2017, initially as a dental nurse, she has gained valuable experience across both NHS and private practices, developing a broad understanding of patient care, preventive dentistry and oral health.
Friendly, approachable and patient-focused, Ana is passionate about providing gentle, high-quality care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. She has a particular interest in periodontal health and enjoys helping patients understand the causes and progression of gum disease, as well as supporting them with effective home-care routines to improve and maintain their oral health. Ana also has experience supporting patients undergoing orthodontic treatment, providing tailored oral hygiene advice to help maintain healthy teeth and gums throughout their treatment.
Ana takes a preventative and educational approach to hygiene care, working closely with patients to improve their oral health and build confidence in their daily routines. She particularly enjoys treating nervous patients and takes the time to create a calm, reassuring environment where they feel listened to and comfortable. Her experience across different dental settings has allowed her to develop a flexible approach and a strong understanding of the importance of personalised, evidence-based care.
Originally from Spain, Ana is a native Valencià speaker and also speaks Spanish, English and Italian. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and making the most of her time outside of work.
